The NeoStrata Pre & Post Procedure Protocol is formulated with PolyHydroxy Acids (PHAs) gluconolactone and lactobionic acid which are non-irritating and natural humectants that bind water and increase moisturization of the skin. PHAs also strengthen the vulnerable protective barrier of skin, helping skin to become less sensitive to irritants. In clinical studies, a PHA regimen has been proven to enhance the outcome of procedures such as light treatments, glycolic acid or superficial peels, injectable fillers, botulinum toxin type A, and microdermabrasion.* In a clinical study with glycolic acids peels, 100% of participants agreed a regimen containing PHAs improved skin radiance, texture, tone and smoothness; and made skin soft, healthy-looking and rejuvenated.
